- A lot of suppliers require that agents have a form of identification to prove they are actual TA’s. This is done by getting your Independent Agent CLIA card at cruising.org. Please note that there is an additional yearly fee which is NOT covered by Cornerstone or your hosting fee. The yearly membership with CLIA is again, for identification purposes only and it is against our terms and agreements to use it to register with suppliers and book commissionable trips under it. (Pro Accounts will be reimbursed after 90 days on the Pro Account.

- Our policy covers $1.5 million per agent, per occurrence.
- The deductible is $500 per claim. The agent is responsible for the deductible.
- Cornerstone works with thousands of suppliers worldwide. While we do have a basic list, it would be overwhelming, especially to new agents to have all of the suppliers listed.
- Commission percentages can vary each quarter depending on sales made by the agency as a whole. To change each percentage for every supplier we work with would take a number of staff members an immense amount of manpower hours.
- Our corporate mentors as well as our training program reiterate the importance of papertrails and keeping all booking paperwork for no less than 7 years.
- This includes emails, text messages, and any paperwork signed by the client.
- Make sure to use Credit Card Authorization forms as well as keeping in contact with clients.
- 99% of suppliers pay through payment processors such as Onyx, PaymodeX, etc. Those processors pay when the supplier schedules payout to us, the agency. Unfortunately, not all payments are sent as scheduled or they get lost in transfer.
- When events like this happen, we have to contact the payment processor and they perform an audit on the payment. If they cannot find the payment, we then have to contact the supplier, have them retract the payment, and resubmit.
- This is why it is vital you submit a Where Is My Commission form to us and allow us to do the investigating.

- To ensure you don’t have to wait until the end of the policy, for annual plans only, enter the date of sale as the beginning of the “trip” and then 30 days later as the end of the “trip”.

- The Agency Owner Program is a referral program offered by Cornerstone.
